Hello everyone, I was called Marco, born in 1981. After university and several years of permanent work, I realized I had other aspirations. So I organized a road trip with a dear friend of mine: we left Italy with two geared scooters and arrived in Sydney, Australia after a year on the road (Starwaytosydney project). Then it was the turn of backpacking South America. Once back\u2026 I left immediately (!) working as a photographer in Mexico, Spain and France. My passion for other forms of tourism, compared to the more conventional ones, was born along the way and took possession of me so much that I specialized in the subject by attending a training course in responsible tourism in Rome. Sports in nature, meditation, books, movies and good friends are my antidote to life's storms. Mary, the one whose biography you will read on this page, is my life partner and together with her we have created this sustainable and supportive travel blog.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Ciao a tutti, mi chiamo Maria Antonietta, ma tutti mi chiamano Mary tranne Marco, lui mi ha rinominata Mary Jones (se non capite la citazione cinematografica, continuate a leggere). Fin da piccola ho sempre avuto due grandi passioni: l\u2019archeologia e la vela. E\u2019 stato pi\u00f9 o meno quando ho capito che non avrei potuto scegliere tra l\u2019una o l\u2019altra, che ho preso una decisione: nella vita avrei cercato di aggiungere sempre qualcosa di nuovo. Ho collezionato sport da praticare, libri da leggere, film da guardare, lingue da studiare, culture da scoprire e il tempo\u2026si \u00e8 allungato sempre pi\u00f9! Ogni cosa a cui dedicavo le mie energie mi faceva sentire in continuo cambiamento ed esplorazione: la velista che era in me cercava sempre nuovi orizzonti e io li trovavo per lo pi\u00f9 sull\u2019atlante geografico. Cercare nuovi posti dove andare era il mio \u201csogno ad occhi aperti\u201d preferito, che ho realizzato ogni volta che ho potuto. Dopo una laurea quinquennale e un master, dopo tanti scavi, ricognizioni subacquee e progetti culturali ho deciso di reinventarmi nel settore del turismo sostenibile e l\u00ec ho scoperto che c\u2019era spazio per tutte le mie passioni. Da qui \u00e8 nato, insieme al tipaccio di sopra, il nostro blog di viaggi sostenibili e solidali PachaMaMa\u2019s.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
